We helped these home owners create their dream home out of a small, outdated house they purchased on a generous country lot on the edge of the quaint Village of Kohler. A rear addition houses a grand kitchen fit for this high school home economics teacher that opens onto an enlarged dining room with Craftsman style wainscoting and columns that carry into the brightened living room and new sun room. The second floor was completely removed and reconstructed with full height ceilings, a luxurious master suite, and two additional bedrooms and bath. A full length front porch and new symmetrical window arrangement gives the house a classic appearance reminiscent of a bygone era.
